OTIYP (previously BLOOM) member, mother of a son with autism

My name is Joy, and I have a wonderful autistic 9-year-old son. BLOOM [now OTIYP] has been an incredible resource for us because, if you are in the special needs community or have a child with extra needs, you know that you have an array of professionals to turn to. And those professionals can often be hard to get to; they can be hard to access. And at the end of the day, your biggest desire is to gain the skills that you, as a parent, need to facilitate your child's growth. And that’s what BLOOM is: it provides courses, and resources, and worksheets, and even direct access to Miriam to empower and equip you as a parent to understand what's going on in your child's brain, what’s going on in your child’s body, and then gives you real-world skills that you can then apply in your home. So it's a powerful way to have on-demand resources and to also upskill yourself to be able to provide the best possible situation for your child. And it has strengthened our home. It’s strengthened my ability to connect with my son, understand what he's going through, and have solutions for him that really work. I absolutely recommend that everybody get on board, that you try out some of the courses, and take advantage of this incredible resource.

Hi, my name is Sophia, and this is my son, Roman. He just turned 1. As a new mom, I was overwhelmed with the task of supporting my baby’s development. And that’s when I heard about BLOOM [now OTIYP], and they have a course called The First Year. So I bought it, and the course from Bloom was able to identify key developmental milestones in my baby’s first year. And it provided me with preventative measures to support my baby’s growth proactively. And what I loved most about the course was how it made me feel as a parent: informed, confident, and empowered, which resulted in strengthening our bond. Today, I can proudly say that my baby is thriving, and I have Bloom to thank for that. I highly highly recommend all of their courses, even if you don't have a baby, they have courses that range obviously, from the first year all the way up to the teenage years.
